We respect it. Which means when you visit our site we don’t ask for your name and number and then tell you we’re not going to use it. We don’t ask in the first place. There are no email lists, no surveys and no questionnaires. When you order a book, your information is used for that order only. It isn’t kept on-file for future orders. If you place more than one order with us, you’ll need to input your order information again, from scratch.
We are not even keeping a counter or other such “information gathering” devices on this site. It’s your business when you want to visit us, how long you want to stay and what you want to look at. We don’t need to know. If you want to contact us, you can.
The point is, we’re trying to tread lightly here. We appreciate your visiting this site and we hope you’ll tell your friends about it. But we won’t be reaching out to anyone through marketing strategies or the latest website technology. While we appreciate the fact that technology allows us to make the work on this site available to people around the world, we still think cookies belong in a cookie jar.
